Ovulation tests work by detecting the surge in Luteinizing Hormone (LH) that occurs just before you ovulate. When your LH levels go up, you know that ovulation is right around the corner. In fact, you will typically ovulate within 24-48 hours of your LH surge. Our BFP Ovulation Test Strips are designed specifically for trying-to-conceive women. They’re easy to use, highly accurate, and they cost just a fraction of what drugstore brands charge.Unlike midstream ovulation tests, which are held directly in the urine stream, BFP Ovulation Test Strips are designed to be dipped into collected urine (a Dixie cup works fine). After dipping the test in urine, lay it on a flat surface. Within minutes, your test result will appear. A positive result indicates that peak fertility is at hand and that this is your optimal time for achieving pregnancy.Interpreting the results of your ovulation test is simple: simply compare the intensity (boldness) of the test line to that of the control line. If the test line is as bold or bolder than the control line, that indicates a positive result and ovulation will occur within 24-48 hours. If the test line is fainter than the control line, or if the test line is not visible at all, that indicates a negative result.
Direction of use As first morning urine should NOT be used with this test. For best results, you should test around the same time each day. You should reduce your liquid intake approximately 2 hours prior to testing or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Servings Per Container: 1 First morning urine should NOT be used with this test. For best results, you should test around the same time each day. You should reduce your liquid intake approximately 2 hours prior to testing. Urinate into a clean, dry cup or container. Remove the test strip from the pouch. Hold the test strip in a vertical position with the arrows pointing downward. Dip the test into the urine approximately 1/4 inch and hold it there for at least 5 seconds. Longer dipping times will not produce false results. Do not dip past the stop line. Remove the test strip and lay it down flat. Wait 5-10 minutes before reading results.
